The short version

EventLens does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.

Details

Your log files stay on your Mac. EventLens opens Windows Event Log (.evtx) files entirely on your device. File contents are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with anyone — the app performs no network requests to process your logs.

No analytics, no tracking. EventLens contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporters that phone home, no advertising identifiers, and no trackers of any kind.

No accounts. EventLens requires no sign-up, login, or account.

Purchases. The optional Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. EventLens only receives Apple’s confirmation that the purchase is valid. We never see your payment details.

Local preferences. Settings such as your recently opened file names, window layout, and bookmarks are stored locally on your Mac in the app’s sandboxed container. They never leave your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this page with a new date. Given the app’s design — no data collection — changes are unlikely.
